"Congratulations! Today is your day.

You’re off to Great Places! You’re off and away!

You have brains in your head.

You have feet in your shoes.

You can steer yourself any direction you choose.

You’re on your own.

And you know what you know.

And YOU are the couple who’ll decide where to go.

You’ll look up and down streets.

Look ‘em over with care.

About some you will say, “We don’t choose to go there.”

With your heads full of brains and your shoes full of feet,

you’re too smart to go down, any not-so-good street.

And you may not find any you’ll want to go down.

In that case, of course, you’ll head straight out of town.

It’s opener there in the wide open air,

Out there things can happen and frequently do

to people as brainy and footsy as you.

Bendición o Ritual de la Piedra/Caracol

Bendición y Ritual de la Piedra

Por favor tome cada uno una piedra/caracol de la canasta al final del pasillo y sigan a los novios al mar. Colóquense en una fila viendo al mar, paralela a la ola.

Junto al Mar:

_______ y ________, antes de conocerse, sus vidas iban en muy diferentes direcciones, distintos destinos. Pero el amor los ha unido y ha unido sus caminos en uno solo.  Cada uno de sus familiares y amigos aquí reunidos, tienen una pequeña piedra/caracol, que representa su individualidad y presencia en el día de su boda. 

Ahora les pido que cada uno tome su piedra y de manera muy personal hagan una oración o pidan un deseo para esta pareja de amor, unidad y gozo.

A la cuenta de tres, todos arrojaremos estas piedras/caracoles al mar.
